One of the mosts popular posts here on Clutter Cubed was about how to neatly fold t-shirts, so I thought I’d share a video I found about how to fold towels to make them look as neat and tidy as the ones in the spa or show homes on TV!
The video contains three different methods of towel folding.
All three methods result in a nice tidy look for your towels, but I personally like the third method best. It makes the towels look so thick and fluffy, and there’s no rough edge to be seen!

Ah ~ but do you know how to properly fold fitted sheets so that they’re all the same size, neat and tidy on your linens shelf!
No, but that sounds great! How do you fold fitted sheets like that?
I only have one set of sheets, so as soon as it’s out of the wash it’s back on the bed, so I’ve never learned how to fold sheets nicely.
It’s fairly easy once you’ve done it once or twice…
Open the sheet wide, and poke your fingers in the corners of the fitted parts, then fold one side over onto the other (so one ends up inside out), the fold the bottom over onto the top. I usually lay it out flat at this point, puul the edges straight and then fold as normal. Voila!
But then, if you don’t have to store your sheets to begin with that’s and even better clutter buster!
Neat! I’ll have to try that (when I own more sheets!)
How cheeky do you think it would be if I sent this video to my boyfriend (whose computer is 20 feet away from mine)?
Hi Caitlin. I totally enjoyed reading your blog coz just like you I am so into de-cluttering my home.
Thanks for sharing these tips.
Can I add you into my links?
Thanks.
Thanks for very interesting article. btw. I really enjoyed reading all of your posts. It’s interesting to read ideas, and observations from someone else’s point of view… makes you think more. So please keep up the great work. Greetings
