What is RSS and how can it help me?

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. It allows you to subscribe to blogs and websites that you find interesting, almost like subscribing to a magazine. Each time a new post is made on the blog, it will be sent to you automatically for you to read (like receiving a new issue of a magazine in the mail).
It’s easier than bookmarking a site, because with bookmarks you have to actually remember to click on the link and return to the site, whereas an RSS feed is delivered directly to you without you having to do any work!

You can choose to have new posts delivered to you via email, or you can use a Feed Reader. A Feed Reader is a site that shows you all of your subscribed feeds in one place for easy viewing. Some common Feed Readers are Google Reader, Bloglines, or MyYahoo!

Here on Clutter Cubed, you can subscribe to the posts I make, and you can also subscribe to the comments that are left here by others so you can keep up with the conversation!
